וּלְאַחְאָ֛ב שִׁבְעִ֥ים בָּנִ֖ים בְּשֹׁמְר֑וֹן וַיִּכְתֹּב֩ יֵה֨וּא סְפָרִ֜ים וַיִּשְׁלַ֣ח שֹׁמְר֗וֹן אֶל־שָׂרֵ֤י יִזְרְעֶאל֙ הַזְּקֵנִ֔ים וְאֶל־הָאֹמְנִ֥ים אַחְאָ֖ב לֵאמֹֽר׃
Or, Achab avait soixante-dix fils à Samarie. Jéhu écrivit des lettres qu’il envoya à Samarie, aux chefs de Jezreël, aux anciens et aux précepteurs des enfants d’Achab, et qui étaient ainsi conçues:
